Ode to the Trees
I think that I shall never see
An airport lovelier than a tree,
And if we are forced to cut ours down
T’will shame the gateway to our town.
Concrete is what LBC love best
To have a dead grey town their quest,
Mother Nature has no place
In their race to destroy greenspace.
To hide it all they’ll choke our skies,
With fume from aeroplanes and cars as numbers rise.
And when they have achieved their goal
They’ll be so broke they’ll lose it all.
